Aline Burch replies on behalf of Leonard Woolf to explain that The Hogarth Press have just reprinted The Common Reader first series as a uniform edition and the second series is now being bound. She relays that a Penguin reprint would have an adverse effect on the sales of the uniform edition and therefore cannot renew their contracts with Penguin
