October 20th, 1950.

Dear Eunice,

Many thanks indeed for your letter of October 17th and for sending me the draft blurb for "The Waves". It strikes me as excellent, but as Leonard Woolf is rather particular about such things I am sending it on for his approval. Then if Stephen Spender doesn't come up to scratch, you will be all clear to go ahead with the paragraph you have sent me. I will ask L[eonard]. W[oolf]. to return it direct to you with his comments.

Yours,
