Dear Sirs,

Woolf - To the Lighthouse

Thank you very much for your letter of the 9th July about the above book. We are very glad you think you can help us in this matter, and we agree that the paper will not be unsuitable. Could you now estimate for an offset reprint of 1,000 copies including paper? The paper will of course have to be slightly cut down.

We not [sic] that you have a certain stock of this particular Quad Crown paper, and we wonder whether you would be prepared to undertake a job of direct printing for us supplying paper? It involves a novel of ordinary length, anything between 5,000 and 10,000 copies. I'd be very grateful if you could let me know about this as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely, | John Lehmann.
