Dear Sirs,

I very much regret that I have not answered your letter of the 16th of June before. The delay was due to holidays in the works at Letchworth, and I was only able to get the necessary data this week.

We think on the whole that it would be better if the existing type was used as in your proposal A, with running heads dropped, and folios centred at foot.  The G[arden].C[ity].P[ress]. are prepared to design this to fit your 44 x 32 paper, following specimen you enclosed.

We shall be much obliged if you can let us know when we may expect delivery of paper for 5,000 copies.

Yours faithfully,
