Dear Hope,

27/9/[19]24

The missing proofs are inexplicable. I put them in with the MS [manuscript]. with my own hands - - three copies. I now send you the only remaining copy which I have. I am telling the printer to send another complete set to Prince Mirsky, London University, South Kensington, direct. Will you ring me up at the Nation on Monday and let me know whether you now have yourselves one complete set of the whole book as I posted you pages 129 to the end in triplicate to-day.

Yours | Leonard Woolf [signature]
