Woolf states that Pearn, Pollinger, and Higham have sent copy of Tchekhov notebooks that Crown Publishers hope to publish, he asks Koteliansky's opinion, and indicates his inclination to refuse (and Chatto's decision to refuse publication of their material—the Garnett letters).
