Dear Kot,
(1) As to selection, I am quite willing that it should be made by mutual agreement between the two translators, provided that the Press need not publish a book of more than 120 pages.
(2) We are quite willing to pay the translators 10% royalty on all copies sold up to 1000 and 1<5>% on all copies sold above 1000 of the English edition, if you prefer that system to the 25% of the net profits.
(3) As regards American rights every book must of course be considered on its merits. In this case, we are not prepared to publish an English edition unless we have the handling of the American rights on the basis of a 10% commission on the net proceeds of any sale.
