Letter from Margaret West to Mary Gordon (18/05/1936)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

The Hogarth Press Manager informs Mary Gordon that they are having trouble securing offers for American rights for Chase of the Wild Goose; the manager states they will contact the English Bookshop in Zurich, and that it would be better if Gordon could contact her friend in Zurich to inform the Bookshop of her book first. The manager adds that the Press will likely issue a leaflet after the book has received some reviews, which would be at least 3 weeks after publication, and asks Gordon on her thoughts about the leaflet delay.
