Ahmed Ali, Esq.,
The University,
Lucknow, India.

12th August, 1940.

Dear Mr. Ali,

Twilight in Delhi

Thank you so much for your letter. I am afraid I am rather rushed as I am leaving here to-day to take up a Government post for the duration of the War. However, Mr. Lehmann has noted all your suggestions and wishes me to tell you that requests for review copies from the vernacular press will be favourably considered.

Please send your biographical details as promised as I am sure they will be very useful.

With every good wish for the success of the book.

Yours sincerely, | Manager.
