Dear Sirs,

I have reported to my Committee the fact that several of the Publishers who collaborated by providing books for exhibition in the Teachers' and Parents' Collection have now most generously offered the books as a gift to the Children's Libraries. They wish me to express to you their warmest thanks for your kindness; I need not say that I most heartily associate myself with them.

Yours truly, | J[oseph]. P[ercy]. Lamb[signature] | City Librarian
