Virginia Woolf : A New Novel.

Dear Sir,

I am in receipt of your letter of February 22nd, and I have noted your order for three copies of the new novel by Virginia Woolf. I should however, mention that we do not yet know when we shall be able to publish it. We have not yet received the MS[manuscript], , [sic] and it is possible that publication may be postponed until the Autumn. You say that you would like to have a review copy "as you are sure you can place the book in one of your best newspapers " Do I understand you to mean that you can place a review of the book, or that your enquiry referred to the possibility of serializing some part of the book? Your meaning is not quite clear from the wording in your letter, but I assume that you mean that you could obtain a review of the book.

Yours faithfully, | THE HOGARTH PRESS. | MANAGER.
