Letter from The Hogarth Press to Mary Gordon (21/01/1936)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

The Hogarth Press informs Mary Gordon that they believe the new chapter is much improved, and everything except the illustrations is settled. The Press states that financially 10 illustrations would be best, and Gordon will have to pay for extra illustrations. The Press suggests a specific photo with the 2 ladies, as it would make the readers curious, and asks Gordon to arrange for glossy prints of another illustration. Finally, the Press states that the staircase photograph is unsatisfactory to reproduce.

Typescript letter.
