Dear Sirs

In pursuance of our recent conversation with you we are sending [*9*] photographs which we wish you to send to the Austrian block-maker to be made into blocks.

We shall require 24 blocks for the whole book and we shall send the rest as soon as we receive the first [*9*] satisfactorily completed.

We wish only to have the blocks made in Austria as we have decided to have them printed in England.

The size of the blocks should be as near 6" by 4 1/2" as possible and in no case should the length be less than 6".

We understand from you that it is necessary to make a deposit of half the cost.  At 7d per sq: inch (the cost agreed upon in our *1recent conversation) we estimate that the making of [*8*] [*9*] [number 8 amended to number 9] blocks will cost about
7 - 0 - 0 : we enclose a cheque for half that amount,

Yours faithfully
