Dear Sirs,

We are enclosing the MS [manuscript]. of No.5 in our Letter Series, A letter from a Black Sheep by Francis Birrell. We estimate that it will be somewhat shorter than CECIL.DISARMAMENT. Please estimate for making it a pamphlet of 32pp. (including prelims [preliminary pages].) and send a specimen page accordingly, the type to be the same as for the first three. We are hoping to hear from you soon about the new colours for the covers of the series, which we discussed with your Mr. Spence. Letter No.4 will follow shortly. Please estimate for alternatively 2000, 3000, and 4000 copies.

Yours faithfully | The Hogarth Press | John F Lehmann [signature] | Manager.
