Dear Leonard

 

Thank you for your letter. I am sorry to have taken so long to answer it. I have no objection to Sheed & Ward’s republishing Avvakum. But I certainly would like to see the corrections this Orthodox gentleman wants to make. As far as I remember when you wrote to me about the matter some years ago, I did not agree as to terms.
