Dear Mr. Koteliansky,

 

Mr. Woolf has asked me to tell you that we have suggested to Newman Wolsey Ltd. that one of their directors should get into touch with you with regard to 'Stavrogin's Confession'.

 

Replying to your last paragraph, I cannot trace that we have had an application from an Indian publisher for permission to use 'The Gentleman from San Francisco'.
