March 15th. 1935.

Dear Madam,

Mrs. Woolf has handed to me your letter to her of March 14th, with regard to the quotations from To the Lighthouse which you wish to make. She says that so far as she is concerned she would not object to your using them, and we are glad to add to her authority, our own permission, as publishers, of the book subject to the payment of a fee of one guinea and to the usual acknowledgements to publishers and author being made.

Yours faithfully, | THE HOGARTH PRESS. | MANAGER.
