Dear Sir,

 

In reply to your letter of February 24th, we shall be glad to give you permission to make the quotations referred to from the book entitled “LIFE AS WE HAVE KNOWN IT” subject to a fee of 10/[*6*] and to the usual acknowledgements to the book, and to the publishers.

 

The books was not published in America.
