Dear Kot,

 

"Goldenwaiser's[sic] Diary"

 

With some hesitation we have decided that we will bring out an edition of this if you agree to the following terms :-

 

Virginia*1 will do the translation with you and will have the right to make the selection of what is to be included.  You will not translate anything which has previously been published in English. We will pay you 25% of the net profits of the English edition.  We have the right to sell or assign the American or Colonial rights; the Press will receive 10% of the net proceeds of the sale of any such rights.

 

If you agree, will you let her have the MS [manuscript] as early as possible
