Letter from Jessie Stewart to Leonard Woolf (24/06/1950)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

Jessie Stewart writes to thank Leonard Woolf for the copies of the book. She discusses suggestions for a reissue to celebrate the centenary of Jane Ellen Harrison's birth. She also suggests other ideas to commemorate this event; mentioning a BBC broadcast, and a biography that could be made, which she asks if they would be interested in publishing. She again mentions that Mirrlees has postponed writing about Jane Harrison and asks if she can call Tavistock Square in the hopes that they may help her.
