3rd April, 1940.

Dear Mr Maers,

Ali - Novel

With reference to your letter of March 21st, and to the dummies which you were so kind as to send me, I wonder if you would be so kind as to let me see a dummy of the Satin surface white Antique wove, 30 x 40, 516's, in a 70 lb. weight for 344 pp. The price on your original dummy is 5 1/8 pence net per lb. for 20 reams. Would you please tell me (1) whether the price stands and (2) what will be the effect of having less than 20 reams as the amount we shall require will be in the neighbourhood of 13 reams.

Yours sincerely, | THE HOGARTH PRESS, | Manager.
