Letter from Leonard Woolf to Mary Gordon (02/01/1936)

Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

Leonard Woolf informs Mary Gordon that the Hogarth Press would be willing to publish Chase of the Wild Goose with some suggested edits: an introduction for authorities, changing the first 2 chapters' tone to match the other chapters, shortening chapter 9, and dealing with Caroline Hamilton's charges. Woolf offers a 10% royalty on the first 2000 copies and a 15% royalty on subsequent copies. He adds that if Gordon agrees to the terms, then she should provide a short description of her book.

Typescript letter signed by Leonard Woolf.
