Letter from Donald Brace to Virginia Woolf (21/08/1933) (copy)

University of Reading, Special Collections

Donald Brace informs that the Book-of-the-Month Club's will pay $5000 for Flush; they don't buy books from publishers, but pay the printer for the rights instead and plan to distribute 40,000 copies. He asks what Woolf thinks of her share - $2500 - and if she wants it sent promptly. Brace plans to publish the same day as the Press on October 5.

Typescript letter.
