Library:

University of Reading, Special Collections

Leonard Woolf thanks Donald Brace for the $2000 payment; he explains the proofs' delay is due to not enough definite information. He informs Brace Virginia Woolf's health has been poor, and is altering the first proofs. Woolf states she may complete the first proofs by end of August, and the 2nd proofs will be sent by mid-September. He hopes to publish towards end of October.
