Dear Leonard

 

Thank you for the photos. I think them all quite good except the [1 word illeg.] one of the farm pond which seems to me very pale & thin. Could it be printed blacker or do you think it is the fault of the photograph? There was quite a good reproduction in 'Vogue' but I suppose this block would be far too small.

 

Will you please send me a complete list of the pictures you intend to publish as I believe Roger*1 has forgotten to send you a photograph of of one of his, but I dont [sic] know. I think it was called 'the tub' a woman having a bath.

 

Do you want the proofs back?

 

I have set the photographer to work wherever possible.

Duncan Grant writes to thank Leonard Woolf for some photographs and discusses the quality of them. He asks for a complete list of pictures that Woolf is intending to use. He mentions that Roger Fry may have forgotten to send a photograph of 'The Tub'. He asks if Woolf would like proofs sent back.
