Meet The Team

Claire Battershill is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Information and the Department of English at the University of Toronto and the 2017 SSHRC Impact Award winner in the Talent category. She is a founding member of MAPP.

Erica Cavanaugh is a web developer with a background in Library and Information Science.

Angela Chan is the Project Trainee Archive Assistant (MAPP) at University of Reading Special Collections with an MA in World History and Cultures from King’s College London.

Rachel Combs is a PhD student in English at the University of Oregon and a Research Assistant for MAPP.

Danni Corfield has been Project Archivist for Random House Group UK Archives at University of Reading since 2014, and is the current archivist for MAPP.

Matthew Hannah is Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities at Purdue School of Information Studies.

Helen Southworth is Professor of English at the University of Oregon and a founding member of MAPP.

Alice Staveley is Senior Lecturer and Director of Honors in English, Stanford University and Director of the Digital Humanities Minor. She is a founding member of MAPP.

Kayleigh Voss is a Graduate Research Associate at the Harry Ransom Center. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in English literature and a Master’s of Information Studies at the University of Texas at Austin.

Elizabeth Willson Gordon is Associate Professor of English at King’s University and Canada Research Chair in Modern Literature and Print Culture. She is a founding member of MAPP.

Nicola Wilson is Associate Professor in Book and Publishing Studies and co-director of the Centre for Book Cultures and Publishing at the University of Reading. She is a founding member of MAPP.
