Dear Mr. Brace:
With reference to the second paragraph of my letter of 11th December, I now enclose the complete proofs of my book of Essays. I also enclose a longer Essay “Hunting the High-brow" which I am publishing here separately in our Hogarth Essay Series. If you take the book of Essays I think you may possibly care to include this in it, in which case I think it might go as the last Essay under Literature. But I leave this, of course, entirely to you. I should be very much obliged if you could let us know as early as possible your decision with regard to the book and whether, if we you [handwritten] take it, you have any objection to our publishing in the spring. It would suit our arrangement[*s*] for next year much better if we could make this a Spring book.
With kind regards, | Yours sincerely | Leonard Woolf [handwritten signature]
