THE WAVES, by VIRGINIA WOOLF

Dear Madam,

In reply to your letter of September 7th, we are glad to give you permission, on behalf of ourselves and Mrs. Virginia Woolf, to make the quotations referred to in your letter in the book entitled “THE WELL OF ENGLISH”. I should add, however, that this book is published in America by Messrs. Harcourt Brace, and that so far as the American market is concerned, it is their permission that you should seek.

Yours very truly, | THE HOGARTH PRESS, | MANAGER.
