Dear Mr. Woolf,

 

I have just heard from the owner of "The Pond, Sussex" [.]  He will of course allow the picture to be reproduced, and it is immaterial to him whether you put in "in a private collection" or in his name "collection F. Hindley Smith.

 

I take it that this is all the information you want from me, particularly as I told you the other day that the owner "The Hammock" wishes to remain annonymous.
