Letter requesting permission to excerpt "Jack Mytton" from The Common Reader, Second Series for use in a textbook called "A Book of English Prose" to be used in the Intermediate Classes of the Punjab and N. W F. Province. Note that someone wrote in pencil: "Usual fee? 2 guineas for 7 pages - this is 5"
