University of Reading, Special Collections

Friedrich Burschell writes on behalf of the German publisher to enquire about German rights regarding Mr Bennett and Mrs Brown and A letter to a Young Poet. He also enquires about the author Henry Green and asks about his novels Party Going and Caught. He asks for the books to be sent to him and for the Press to give S. Fishcher Verlag a decision. There are pencilled notes '£5' and Haunted House at the bottom of the letter. Burschell has also included the letter from S. Fischer Verlag so that The Hogarth press can review the original request. The enclosed letter is written in German.
