Leighton-Straker Bookbinding Ltd write to confirm that they have made 1704 copies of The Common Reader Volume 1 and ask if this number is agreed, they ask for a response at the bottom of the letter. A typed response at the foot of the letter states that no more copies can be made but the Her Majesty's Stationery Office order is done
