once to send you £80. On Dec. 1st I would send you another £120. Any balance to be paid - presumably publishers' expenses for advertising &c. - I would pay on Jan. 1st. If I dont [sic] hear from you on the subject I shall assume that these arrangements are good enough.

 

I was in the chair last night at the first Labour Party meeting ever held on Lord Curzon's Estate.
