Dear Baker,

 

Thank you very much for your letter of the 5th. Mr. Woolf and I are very interested in your suggestion about Death of the Moth. In principle, we would like to co-operate, but we will have first of all to make out exactly what it will cost us to have 5,000 copies machined. I will get in touch with the printers, and write to you again as soon as I can.

Lehmann expresses interest in working with the Readers Union suggestions for the printing of 5000 copies of Virginia Woolf's The Death of the Moth and that Hogarth must first connect with the printers to know the associated costs of printing these copies.
