Dear Baker,

 

Many thanks for your letter of the 20th.  I am glad you are going to do the Death of the Moth.  You must not think I have found the production of Readers Union books disappointing in the past;  I am merely acting as guardian of Mrs. Woolf's*1 very definite ideas about how her books should look.  I am sure you won't take it amiss.
