Leonard Woolf (signature is cut off) writes to enclose the manuscript of The Common Reader with a design for the jacket (possibly referring to MS 2750/552/1). Woolf mentions Virginia Woolf's illness which has caused a delay in sending the MS He requests an estimate for the printing of 1050 copies specifying the type style, type of paper and binding (stating he would like the jacket to be the same style as The Sampler of Castille). The Common Reader is to be published by an American Publisher before 'Mrs Dalloway' which is due to be published in May. He asks for the earliest date that R & R Clark can deliver and if an April date is possible.
