H. Summers of Penguin Books writes in reference to contracts for The Common Reader and The Second Common Reader. He proposes a reprint of both titles for a new price, Summers requests that the contracts are amended so that they are able to sell for a new price and asks if Woolf will agree to an altered royalty fee. He notes a suggestion that these titles should be published as one volume and asks if they should draw up new contracts to cover a single volume
