15th August,1951.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 8th of August. We regret that we are unable to send a copy of PACK MY BAG to Mr.Burschell as this book is at present out of stock. We shall, of course, be reprinting, but do not yet know when copies will be available. Meanwhile, we have only our file copy which, of course, we are unable to send out of the office.

While writing to you, may we point out that we have not yet received the fee of five guineas which was due to us in connection with the permission which we gave Mr.Burschell to translate for you Mr.Bennett and Mrs. Brown. This matter is long outstanding and we should be glad if you would let us know the position at your early convenience.

Yours faithfully, | for The Hogarth Press Ltd.
