According to a note included in Woolmer (96), this bilingual de luxe printing of the Duino Elegies, published by Hogarth on behalf of the Cranach Press, was planned by Count Harry Kessler. The 238 numbered copies (8 on vellum, 230 not) contained handmade "Maillol-Kessler" paper, initials designed by Eric Gill, and italic type designed by Edward Johnston.
